How to join

I have begun work on a frequently asked questions (FAQ) page for the blog. You can find it on the top right hand corner of the site. I will add as much information as I can manage over the next few days but please feel free to ask questions here (in the comments under this post) that you would like to have answered (on the technical side of things, not the answers to "life the universe and everything" which I may not be able to help you with!) Look forward to trying to figure it all out.

    First comment …
In instructions, tell people that when they hit ‘No Comments’ and are told they have to be logged in to comment … they a) need to log in of course and b) then need to hit the comment button again to get this dialogue box.

    Second comment …
The FAQs text so far may need to be honed down to a list-style ‘instructions’ (painfully simple, clear, crisp, very light reading load for action to take)
And then some of the ‘narrative’ you’ve written so far, could form the actual FAQs, i.e. a bit chattier, friendlier. At least that would appeal to the American in me. We like lists a lot. Probably invented the bullet point. 😉

No Comments is cute, but I wonder if it might be confusing. It took me a while to realise that it was actually the Comment link, and not an accounting of responses to the post. ‘Well-duh’ strikes again.
